Our first European trip together, in the Fall of 2002,
was two weeks in Northern Italy:
Venice, Verona, Lakes Como and Maggiore,
the Cinque Terre, Florence, and Tuscany.
We felt like the sky was golden the entire time, just for us…
but it turns out it just looks like that.
And to think, there’s still Rome, Bologna, Corsica,
Naples, Umbria, the Amalfi Coast, Sicily…
