In December 2008, we drove the length of the Keys, stopped in Key West,
and then backtracked to Coral Gables and Miami.
And if we could go back to the turquoise water, endless blue skies,
renegade roosters, friendly people and cafe con leche right this minute
…believe me, we would.

For the last few years, I’ve been strangely gripped with an urge to see the southernmost part of the U.S., Key West, Florida.
I must have read that Key West is overrun by friendly cats and chickens….and well, we love us some cats and chickens. Or, it could have been the Key Lime Pie.
