What’s Your Dream Destination…and Why Aren’t You There Now?

Chances are, if you’re reading this right now, you have a travel dream. Heck, maybe you even have your dream list right there with you at your desk.
I think about mine every day, all 72 countries of it. Here’s just a sample:
- Croatia
- Argentina
- Colombia
- Alaska
- Morocco
- Norway
- Botswana
- Thailand
- Australia
- Taiwan
What’s at the top of your list? And what’s keeping you both from going to see it/touch it/photograph it/fantasize about ways to stay with it forever?
For some of you, the answer could be money. Or a fear of taking time off from work. Or not having childcare you can trust, or even a decent petsitter.
Or, maybe you’re just exhausted…and can’t bring yourself to plan anything farther than two inches in front of your face.
Well, I want to hear from you.
Leave a comment here about your travel dreams and what keeps you both from them.
Who knows? Maybe I (or my Twitter community) can help you find the tools to make those dreams come true…or maybe it’ll just make you feel better to know that there are people out there in the same boat.
Let’s see if we can’t all help each other get the heck out of dodge once in a while.

My dream destination(s) Galapagos Islands, Norway, Sweden, Belize, Butan, Alaska, love Alaska, Switzerland, Australia.
I’m heading off to the Western Caribbean this Saturday with Princess Cruises.
Follow along via Twitter if you like, #FollowMeAtSea is the hash tag.
What a Trip!
Dream destinations: Antarctica/South Georgia and St Helena. Why I’m not there now? Money.
Top places I want to visit: Morrocco, Croatia, Tunisia, Chile, Greece, Bosnia, and New Zealand. Reason I am not currently traveling: MONEY.
My dream destinations? It used to be the Galapagos Islands, Peru and Guatemala – but I just had my dreams fulfilled in the last couple of months! I’m dreaming of going to Iceland, Mongolia and India next year – and I will get there.
My dream destination is Istanbul of anywhere in Turkey really. I love it there but there is so much more to see. I’m not the type of person that can stay in one place but always love my trips back home.
