For the Love of London

It’s an auspicious day for Anglophiles. I’ve just been up half the night watching Prince William and Kate Middleton get married in spectacular fashion, and wow…do I miss London.

Why, you ask? Well let me count (some of) the ways — in pictures.

There's a sense of romance just about everywhere...like the West End's Regent Street, just before dusk (*sigh*)

Aww what great London pics! I also am still recovering from staying up all night watching the wedding. I haven’t been to London in ten years. Someday!

hey those are some really beautiful pics..

  3. Great pictures of London, I think you captured the soul of the city itself!
Yes, London is a different world on its own right. It is such a huge metropolitan – and cosmopolitan – city, yet it manages to preserve the individual character of “small” neighborhoods.
Another thing I like about London is the fact that small traders and corner shops still thrive and their niche clientele can find there almost everything they are looking for, giving hard competition to giant supermarket chains!
London has something to offer to match even the most experienced travelers’ tastes, and personally I see it is a city for the people, despite the big buildings and structures.
