I feel a tremendous connection to England:
My father’s father was British;
many of the world’s greatest gardens can be found throughout the country;
and I have healthy obsessions with Elvis Costello, Eastenders, and Aardman Animations.
I’d already been to London twice when Adam and I first went in 2004,
and now we occasionally toy with the idea of moving there. (Kidding, Mom.)
But my dream trip for 2011 is to tour the countryside
for the first time since 1985…and my first time with Adam.
