We met up with my parents in Austin in spring 2009, and had a grand old time eating barbecue, poking around the university campus and driving through the wildflower-dotted Hill Country.
But we’ve not yet seen the rivers of San Antonio, the gulf coast of Galveston,
the art and observatory of dusty Marfa,
the mountains of El Paso, or the NASA Space Station in Houston.
